Summary

Imaginuity has completed a SOC 2® Type II examination and received an independent attestation confirming that our internal controls operated effectively over a defined audit period.

SOC 2 evaluates how organizations protect customer data across security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. In other words, it verifies that the systems behind the work are built to safeguard sensitive information the right way, consistently, and at scale.

For multi-location and franchise brands, this isn’t just a certification. It strengthens vendor qualification, supports enterprise procurement requirements, and reinforces trust at the corporate level.

  Why It Matters

A higher standard for data protection

Data security is no longer optional for performance marketing partners. Enterprise brands require verified controls before trusting vendors with customer and campaign data. Completing a SOC 2 Type II examination demonstrates that Imaginuity’s security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy controls are not only documented but independently tested and proven effective over time.

Press Release

DALLAS, Texas (March, 2026) — Imaginuity, a Dallas-based performance marketing company serving multi-location and franchise brands, announced today it has completed a SOC 2 Type II examination and received an independent attestation report covering the operating effectiveness of its controls over a defined audit period.

SOC 2 is an attestation framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for service organizations that store, process, or transmit customer data. A SOC 2 report addresses controls relevant to the AICPA Trust Services Criteria categories: Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy.

“More than ever, we are seeing that customers, prospects, and enterprise partners require this certification before they’ll trust a vendor with their data or their business,” said Matt Sommer, Chief Technology Officer at Imaginuity. “Earning it strengthens our competitive position, opens doors to relationships that simply weren’t available to us before, and shows both current and prospective customers that we take the protection of their data seriously.”
