Definition

(noun) Long, and therefore often more specific, keyword phrases.

Example

“’Second-hand garden furniture’ is a more specific long-tail keywords phrase than ‘furniture’ or even ‘garden furniture.'”

Alternate definition: Keywords phrases that are searched for less frequently, but tend to produce more relevant traffic.
