Senior Manager of Account Services

Role Description Brief

The Senior Manager of Account Services role is responsible for successful project management and customer communications on projects small to large.  Additionally, this role will assist with the management and development of account services resources through direct oversight. This includes:

  • Account and Project Management
    • Developing and retaining relationships with key customer contacts
    • Knowledge of client’s business needs and ability to propose key solutions
    • Evaluating strategic opportunities to grow client business and continually build opportunity pipeline
    • Analyzing marketing trends and researching market conditions to develop ongoing marketing strategies
    • Evaluating the financial aspects of all clients for ongoing business development
    • Generating and maintaining timelines
    • Preparing weekly reports for customers regarding milestones and health of projects
    • Communicating project status to upper management on a regular basis
    • Organizing and facilitating regularly scheduled Imaginuity project team meetings
    • Ensuring projects meet the expectations of the customer organization as agreed upon in project statement of work
    • Resolving internal and customer issues based on the Imaginuity response protocol
    • Developing thoughtful solutions to customer’s business problems
    • Serving as the primary escalation point for account services personnel on account or project issues
  • Staff Management
    • Managing the day-to-day activities of  a team of account managers
    • Drafting semiannual reviews of direct reports
    • Participating in the recruiting process for new account and project managers
    • Communicating team status and issues to the department director on a weekly basis
  • Training
    • Onboarding and training of new account and project managers to the Imaginuity process and methodologies
    • Developing best practices across the account services team, and instilling discipline and consistency in project management

Preferred Experience / Requirements

  • Degree in field of specialty and/or 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Proven leadership skills in technical project management, preferably in a digital environment
  • Proven sense of business acumen
  • Proven ability to work effectively with others
  • Proven customer orientation experience in either agency or Dotcom environment
  • Extraordinary organizational skills
  • Ability to manage to deadlines in a shifting environment with competing priorities
  • Basic understanding of profitability management and process and metric development

Additionally Preferred

  • Basic knowledge of wireframing methods/technology and user experience disciplines
  • Active involvement with Professional association memberships/groups
  • Participation in Community service/organizations
  • Demonstrated innovation in application/usage of emerging technology or field of expertise
