Imaginuity employees in action

Imaginuity Interactive encourages all of our team members to stay involved in their communities, and find ways to give back. It’s good for our business, our communities and our employees. And it’s good for the greater world we all share.

Allison Collister
Allison is an active member of the Junior League of Dallas, volunteering with organizations that promote and improve the quality of life in Dallas including the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity, North Texas Food Bank and Children’s Medical Center.

As an annual race day volunteer for the Komen Race for the Cure, she donates her time and dollars to assist with the goal of raising funds, heightening awareness and educating people about breast health as well recognizing and celebrating breast cancer survivorship.

Allison also is a fundraiser and volunteer for The Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation, which partners with organizations who support breast cancer awareness, philanthropy and service, scholarship and education. She also volunteers with the Coppell Humane Society at local pet adoption events, as a donor, and with online marketing support.

Casey Miller
Casey is an active member of the Dallas chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) as well as the Dallas Social Media Club. He served as a past instructor of upper-level writing courses at the Art Institute of Dallas. Casey has also taught introductory advertising classes at Richland College and the Dallas County Community College District.

Charlie Slodki
Charlie volunteers at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care, caring for clients with dementia. Through his own personal experience, Charlie is able to support and assist clients in various situations and locations.

Corbett Guest
Corbett has been involved in the arts and arts education community in Dallas since taking over Imaginuity in 2003. He has served as a director on the board of Big Thought, a nationally recognized organization focused on building arts education partnerships that allow all children access to quality learning opportunities.

Additionally, Corbett is an alumnus of Leadership Arts and has served as a director on the board of the Business Council for the Arts (BCA), an organization that educates business leaders and professionals about how to support the arts in their local communities.

Gary Hooker
Gary is a graduate of Leadership Dallas, a program of the Dallas Regional Chamber, which is aimed at providing our city with an ongoing source of diverse leaders who are prepared and committed to serve as catalysts and sustainers of positive change for the quality of life in the Greater Dallas area.

In addition, Gary is a graduate of Leadership Arts, a program specifically designed for emerging leaders in the arts in North Texas. Leadership Arts focuses on the challenges facing arts organizations as they deal with the economic, political and artistic realities of today.

Gary has served as a past vice president of The 500 Inc., a charity dedicated to supporting the arts of Dallas County since 1965 through volunteer service; and he has served on the board of the Dallas Center for Contemporary Art.

Jason Bonner
Jason can occasionally be found speaking to the yearbook classes at Highland Park High School. The discussion with students includes Imaginuity, the concepts of digital media and the effect of social media on traditional journalism.

Jennifer Medina
Jennifer volunteers at The Stewpot, serving meals to homeless and at-risk individuals in Dallas. In addition, she is an active member and volunteer for local arts organizations including Art Conspiracy and Dallas Film Society.

Kristen Dodd
Kristen participated in the Dallas Society of Visual Communications (DSVC) Student Show 2011 Portfolio Critique. This allowed design students attending the conference to receive professional feedback on their work.

She has also donated pro bono design work for two local agencies: The Family Place, which is the largest family violence service provider in the Dallas area, as well as the Texas Healthy Start Alliance, which addresses community-based maternal and child health issues in the state of Texas.

Laura Young
Laura has been a dedicated community volunteer through the Dallas Junior League for more than 7 years. Her assignments have included acting as the secretary for the PR Committee, an English as a second language instructor at Vickery Meadow Learning Center, the marketing coordinator for the New Member Committee and many more. Her current placement is with the Cancer Support Community of North Texas.

Liz Medina
Liz volunteers at A Different Breed Animal Rescue, helping dogs in search of their forever homes. In addition, Liz is active in her local PTA and has served as fundraising chair for both club and high school soccer teams.

Nathan Vaughn
Nathan and his wife actively support the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). They also happily completed a pet adoption from the organization.

Randy Hoyt
In 2010, Randy taught two web publishing classes at The University of Texas at Dallas that covered many basic topics about the Internet. He is a regular speaker at local conferences and meetup groups, such as the Dallas/Fort Worth WordPress Meetup, Digital Dallas, WordCamp Dallas and Lone Star PHP. Randy also provided web development services to the Mythopoeic Society, a non-profit literary organization devoted to the study of mythology and fantasy fiction.

Sam Roh
Sam regularly teaches fundamental graphic design at North Lake College. His class includes instruction on traditional advertising elements such as branding, packaging and illustration. Sam also participated in the Dallas Society of Visual Communications (DSVC) Student Show 2011 Portfolio Critique. This allowed design students attending the conference to receive professional feedback on their work.

Steven Haun
Steven is an instructor at Karmany Yoga, a donation-based yoga studio in Dallas. In addition, he volunteers as an IT consultant for the Lakewood Neighborhood Association.

Tammy Hooker
In 2011, Tammy served as a fourth-grade volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement in Plano. Previously, she has served as the community liaison on the Lee Elementary Site-Based Decision Making Committee. She also led the Greater White Rock Early Childhood PTA’s first multi-school neighborhood Halloween parade for children in the Lakewood, Lee and Stonewall Jackson Elementary districts. More than 40 local businesses and celebrities donated their resources and time to the occasion.

Tim Langford
Tim has enthusiastically provided pro bono design work for The Community School of the Park Cities. The philosophy of The Community School is that children learn most through exploration of their environment. A multi-sensory environment rich in sights, sounds and textures -- both soothing and stimulating -- nurtures a child's creativity and sense of self-worth.
